THIS is the moment Theresa May was rushed from Parliament by armed guards to a waiting car — as the Westminster terror attack unfolded 100 yards away.
Exclusive video obtained by The Sun shows that lone wolf jihadi Khalid Masood got dangerously close to the PM.
Mrs May emerged from the building towards her car with clear archways between her and the spot Masood was gunned down.
Footage shows her temporarily losing her bearings and being steered back towards the car by aides.
And the driver of the Jaguar XJ then appears to delay exiting the car park inside the Palace of Westminster complex — sparking fears the PM could have been left vulnerable.
A source said: “There was clear air between the spot where the terrorist was shot down and Mrs May’s car.
“There were no locked doors, just two open archways for vehicles. If there had been more than one attacker, God only knows what might have happened.
“They could have run straight through one of the open arches and tried to stab or shoot her.”

The PM had been inside the MPs’ voting lobby close to New Palace Yard when knifeman Masood raced through the gates after his car rampage across Westminster Bridge.
Sources said only three unlocked doors separated him and Mrs May.
Had Masood turned in a different direction, he could have had a free run at the House of Commons and its two voting lobbies, they claimed.
But he was shot dead by Defence Minister Michael Fallon’s bodyguard.
In The Sun’s video — captured moments after the terrorist was killed — two plain-clothes officers hurry towards the PM’s silver Jaguar parked in Speaker’s Courtyard.
Mrs May is then ferried to the car by bodyguards with their guns at the ready, wary of further attacks.
Masood was felled less than 100 yards away having already stabbed PC Keith Palmer to death.
The guards then fan out as they approach the car, with one peeling off to watch the exit.
An armed cop sits next to the PM in the back of the car and another beside the driver. More officers get into a black Range Rover parked opposite the Jag, which inexplicably pulls forward but then reverses.
It finally speeds off towards Black Rod’s Gate on the other side of the Parliament complex and then on to the safety of Downing Street.
As the video ends, one of the PM’s security team shouts at terrified Parliament staff: “Do not go out. There’s an incident going on. Do not go out. I’m a police officer, stay inside.”
Mrs May was steered clear of the spot where 52-year-old Masood was felled by three shots, sparing her the sight of the grisly aftermath.
Her exit, which was timed at 2.42pm on Wednesday in the video, came as emergency crews and hero MP Tobias Ellwood battled to save the life of unarmed PC Palmer, 48.
A source said: “Had this been a carefully planned attack, the timing could not have been better as MPs are less secure when they enter the voting lobbies.
“If an armed attacker had got through New Palace Yard and caught the PM on her way to her car her safety would have been very seriously compromised.
“The attack was shocking but could have been so much worse if it had been a gang with guns rather than a lone wolf with knives.”
